Aduana Stars coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi admits the tough task ahead but remains optimistic of securing a win in Sunday's Caf Confederation Cup clash with Congolese outfit AS Vita Club.

The Ghanaian champions are hoping to make it two victories on the bounce in the away tie following a 2-1 triumph in the home encounter last week.

With Vita yet to lose a game at home in Africa this season, nothing but a tall order lies in waiting for the Fire Boys in Kinshasa.

“We were better than them in the first leg, I’m hoping we get a win in Congo," Yatsuhashi said, as reported by Footballmadeinghana.

"Vita are a very strong side, they only have some small weaknesses, but they are strong in almost all departments.

"It is going to be difficult for us to win.

“We have already addressed the areas we have to improve. It’s a short time [from the first leg] but we are doing well to focus on certain areas."

Rock-bottom of Group A ahead of their previous match, Aduana now find themselves second on the log, only a point adrift of leaders Raja Casablanca of Morocco.

A win will, thus, be priceless ahead of the final two group matches.

“I promise that we will bring the three points back to Ghana," Kenichi assured.

"We have done everything possible, including change of captaincy, to bring the three points back.

"Many of our supporters won’t be able to travel there but as they are supporting us and demanding the results, our players are pushing themselves to the best and we will bring the three points back.”

Aduana are in the group stage of the Confederation Cup for the first time.
