Affum's Mareikh Deal Falls Through

Glo Premier League current top scorer, Edward 'Bonto' Affum's desire to play on foreign land has come to naught. The intelligent striker was expected to fly out from the country last Wednesday to join Sudanese side El-Mareikh to commence his contract, but traveling complications and other reasons have conspired to stifle the move.

This latest turn of events has had no effect on the striker. He however, seem to have re- organized himself and sounded positive on telephone yesterday.

"It's unfortunate but I have put myself together and would keep my focus on the local league," Affum said on telephone yesterday.
