Ghana’s coach, Emmanuel Afranie says the decision to award the African Coach of the Year prize to Bruno Metsu is a slap in the face of hardworking African coaches. Afranie was beaten to the award by Senegal’s French Coach at last week’s Confederation of African Football awards in South Africa. Chief Executive of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Herbert Mensah also believes that Ghana was unfairly denied the opportunity of winning deserved awards during the awards ceremony.
