Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah has revealed that there is a possibility that he will play in the English Premier League next season after expressing his utmost dream to play in the World’s most popular football league.
The 25-year-old played 13 games and scored two goals for the Italian club last season and despite his tremendous contribution to helping the team stay above the relegation zone, Afriyie Acquah is ready to re-launch his career in the Premier League.
In an exclusive interview with Ghanaweb Acquah said: “It's ninety percent true that maybe I will move and play in England.”
“It's my dream to play in England so I am hoping that, so I am hoping that the deal comes on so that I can move.”
Afriyie went on to lay emphasis on the reason he wants to play in the Premier League.
“I think when I move to England I will play well and something can change in my football.”
The box to box player said things became difficult for him at Torino after he returned from the 2017 AFCON where he helped Ghana place 4th.
Acquah made his debut for the Black Stars in 2010 but he has gone from being a fringe player to a key part of the team and he helped in Ghana’s second place finish in the 2015 AFCON in Equatorial Guinea.
