Midfielder Afriyie Acquah as expressed satisfaction at his 'memorable' debut for Empoli on Sunday in their Serie A opener.
The 26-year-old acquitted himself in the 2-o win over Cagliari at home,
Acquah was named in the starting lineup despite having just one training session with the team he joined on transfer deadline day.
But the 26-year-old adjusted well and made his wealth of Serie A experience count.
He bossed the right side of the midfield as goals from Rade Krunic and Francesco Caputo sealed the win.
