Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah has opted to join Serie A newcomers Empoli after reaching a deal to leave his club, GHANASoccernet.com understands.
The Ghana international was considering a move to his former club Parma and Udinese who launched a late bid to sign him.
Acquah has been playing with Torino since 2015 and his contract is due to expire next summer.
It is unknown if the 26-year-old has moved on a permanent deal or on a season-long loan move.
But Toro.it is reporting that Acquah has penned a three-year deal with option for a fourth and worth €2.5m.
