Afriyie Acquah featured in Torino’s Eusebio Cup victory over Benfica on Wednesday night in a 7-6 penalty shoot-out success.

The pre-season silverware could be the first in the career of the ace midfielder.

Acquah was named in the starting line-up as Torino raced to level on 32 minutes through Adem Ljajic.

Goncalo Guedes gave the Portuguese champions the lead in the 11th minute.

The game headed to penalties and the Serie A side triumphed.
