Aduana Stars to face ban after series of misconduct

Aduana Stars could face up to six matches of home ban as well a hefty fine by the Disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) after the club’s fans prevented some media houses from discharging their mandated duties when they hosted Asante Kotoko on match-day 18 of the Ghana Premier League.

Firstly, the game was scheduled to be telecasted by StarTimes as previously advertised by the Premier League Board but some section of the Aduana fans prevented the crew from telecasting the match as they seek shelter at a Police Station nearby due to security threats.

Kotoko Express’ photo journalist was also prevented by Aduana Stars fans from covering the match for no good reason while the FA’s camera man was prevented from filming the game.

The Disciplinary committee of the FA is expected to charge Aduana for breaching the rules and regulation.

Meanwhile, the match between Aduana Stars and Kotoko ended in 0-0 draw.
