Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is set to sign for English Premiership club Stoke City as talks between the club and the player together with his agent are at an advanced stage.
The 23-year-old enforcer is currently in England with his agent facilitating the deal which could be officially announced within the week.
According to the English Times, the Potters will sign Agyemang-Badu and Turkish midfielder Melvut Erdinç who also plays for Stade Rennes. The pair featured in the Ghana - Turkey international friendly in Istanbul which ended 2-2.
The Udinese midfielder has been linked with Crystal Palace, Everton, Swansea and Norwich over the past few weeks, but now the Brittanica Stadium outfit seems to be his likely destination.
The midfielder has failed to command a regular place in the Udinese setup and a move away from the Stadio Friuli will be beneficial to him as he seeks to get back to his best.
