Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu excelled in helping Udinese to an impressive 1-0 win at Lazio in a Serie-A game played on Thursday.
The 23-year-old whose form has been on the rise once more again lasted the entire duration of the game which saw the hosts stunned before their home crowd in Rome.
Cyril Thereau’s 26th minute strike eventually proved enough to hand all three vital points to Andrea Stramacconi’s side.
Badu played a big role in the win as his solidity in the hole shielded the back-four from the several offensive threats of Lazio.
The Ghana international has now played all but one game for Udinese since the start of the season.
The win also sees Udinese climb into third after four rounds of games in Serie-A.
Badu’s form will excite interim Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu who is getting set to name his squad for next month’s 2015 AFCON qualifiers against Guinea.
