Ghana midfielder Ahmed Barusso is eyeing a return to the Black Stars after a five-year absence.
The combative midfielder has not been involved with the Ghanaian national team since the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations.
The 28-year-old, currently on loan at Italian Seria B side Novara wants to be involved with the Black Stars again.
“I’m working hard here and so when I get the chance to play, I won’t hesitate at all,” Barusso told Radio XYZ.
“If the coach calls me, I will be more than ready to wear the national colours.”
The former Roma player has endured a spell at the club due to injuries- which he has attributed to the club’s synthetic pitch.
