Ex-Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure has launched an astonishing legal charge against controversial Member of Parliament for Assin South, Ken Agyepong by demanding a whopping amount of $900 million as damages for claiming the latter is HIV positive.
The Ivorian attacker is also demanding an unqualified apology from the MP and retraction of the hugely damaging claim made against him both in the electronic and print media.
The controversial and outspoken politician, Kennedy Agyapong alleged that 'Amadu' Toure has been diagnosed with HIV, following his banter with Okay FM brunch host and television celebrity, Afia Schwarzenegger whom he claim was infected HIV virus by the former Kotoko player.
Though Kennedy Agyapong mentioned 'Amadu' and not Ahmed, the Ivorian-born Burkina international responded to the wild claims and denied having anything to do with Afia Schwarzenegger.
Toure also claimed that he has never met Afia Schwarzenegger one-on-one and that the damaging allegations of his HIV status as mentioned by the MP is false and wants the court to slap the lawmaker with the huge fine to compensate for the damage done to his career and reputation.
The MP who engaged in a public spat with radio presenter Afia Schwarzenegger recently accused the latter of being an HIV-AIDS patient because she flirted with the Ivorian striker who tested positive when his team was set to travel to Tunisia some time back.
He, therefore, said anyone who has slept with Afia Schwarzenegger should kindly go and test for HIV because he knows for sure Afia Schwarzenegger is positive.
But the footballer who has not taken kindly to the unsavory comments by the MP has instructed his lawyers to proceed to court if the MP fails to meet these demands a week after he is officially notified with a letter.
