Ahmed Toure in Saudi Arabia

Asante Kotoko Ivorian born Burkina international Ahmed Toure is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is close to sealing a deal with an unnamed club.

The lethal forward was Kotoko’s highest goal scorer last season with 11 goals despite spending two months in Lebanon on loan with SC Nejmah.

Kotoko have decided to cash in on their most priced asset once again with coach David Duncan set to put faith in young but promising forward Dauda Mohammed in the coming season.

Kotoko finished the 2014/2015 season in second place, the first time in three years they had failed to win a trophy.
