Dutch Club, Ajax Amsterdam, has sold its 51 percent majority share in Ghanaian first division club Obuasi Goldfields Sporting Club. The Ashanti Goldfields Company who already owned 49 percent of the club have bought Ajax's shares, giving them 100 percent control of the club.
Ajax have stated that they are no longer prepared to invest anymore capital into the club, but are still willing to assist with technical advice.
