Ghana international defender Jerry Akaminko was in fine shape as he played part for Eskisehirspor in their handsome 2-0 win over Boluspor on Tuesday evening in the Turkish Cup.
The 27-year-old, spotting the number 30 jersey, started the game for Eskisehirspor and lasted until he was replaced in the 53rd minute by Turkish defender Fehmi Emre Gungor.
Akaminko returned to the Eskisehirspor first team after sitting out for a couple of weeks, and he gave a good account of himself in defence as they recorded a decent victory.
The former Heart of Lions defender has featured in just four league games for the top-flight side due to injury problems which had crippled his club and international career since 2014.
He is yet to be invited by Ghana despite his recovery from an ankle injury that messed up his World Cup hopes with Ghana in 2014.
