Akaminko injury boost for Black Stars

Turkey-based defender Jerry Akaminko has handed Ghana a huge injury boost after training with the Black Stars on Tuesday.

The centre-back picked up an injury and missed Eskisehirspor’s 2 - 0 win over Akhisar Belediye GS in the Turkish League on Friday.

Akaminko looks fit and ready for a starting role against Egypt on 19 November at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo.

He put up an impressive display in the first leg 6 -1 win over the Pharaohs at the Baba Yara Stadium when he partnered Rashid Sumaila.
