Akufo-Addo congratulates Gyan on Shanghai SIPG move

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has sent a congratulations message to Asamoah Gyan on his move to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.

The Black Stars captain signed a two-year deal with the Chinese Super League on Thursday evening and is set to be unveiled by the side early next week.

The NPP Presidential aspirant, who was amongst the many important personalities who showed up last week Saturday at Asamoah Gyan’s $3 million mansion, “LA BASILICA DE BABY JET”, tweeted his admiration for Gyan's move to Sven-Göran Eriksson side.

Terms of Gyan's deal were not disclosed, but reports suggest he would be earning in excess of the £162,264 ($250,000) per week he was receiving at UAE champions Al Ain.
