Al Hilal terminate Kennedy Ashia's contract

Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman have terminated the contract of Ghanaian midfielder Kennedy Ashia on mutual consent, GHANASoccernet.com can reveal.

The two parties in a meeting on Saturday agreed to part ways after the former Liberty Professionals marksman failed to impress at the club.

Ashia signed with the Crescent on a free transfer after a top-notch performance in the Ghana Premier League last season where he scored 11 goals.

He becomes the fifth foreigner to be released by the Sudanese club.

The former Ghana U20 star joins Senegalese defender Souleymane Cisse, Cheikh Moukoro and other compatriots Nelson Ladzagla, Abeiku Ainoonson who released early this year.
