Remember the days when a player would score and reveal a message on an undershirt was all the rage?
Despite not seeing a lot of it these days, Middlesbrough winger Albert Adomah went retro in their 3-0 victory over Charlton.
But what did he opt for? A tribute to a friend? Or a message of solidarity for some cause?
Nope, in a touching moment the Boro man pulled up his shirt to reveal a vestdesigned by his own child.
A collective ‘aww’, please.
“You are the best Dad in the World! I really love you Daddy! GOAL!” is a pretty glowing reference from Adomah’s kid.
Also, the vest really is a kick in the teeth for sports scientists, who have been peddling designer undershirts to ‘improve performance’ for years.
