Abubakari named Premiership Player of the Year

Mumuni Abubakari has been adjudged the 2010 Player of the Year in the Premier League by the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG).

The New Edubiase player fended off competition from Asante Kotoko's Ahmed Toure and Emmanuel Clottey of Berekum Chelsea to win the prize.

The award was presented at the 36th edition of the Awards on Saturday in Accra.
