I AM TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM A RETURN – BOYE
31 October, 2011 -- Rennes defender John Boye says he is two weeks away from making a return to the pitch following some time out through injury.
The former Heart of Lions defender, who was getting games for Rennes before his injury, told footyghana.com that his head coach Frederic Antonetti can hardly wait to have him back in the side.
‘The doctors tell me that I am two weeks away from playing and so I am looking forward to making a return soon. My head coach and technical staff can hardly wait for me to be fit again.’
Boye says he will fight to earn a call up for Ghana’s party travelling to the African Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
‘Once I am fit, my major aim is to play well enough to earn a ticket to the African Nations Cup. That is my goal for now.’
