In the face of his busy schedules, the astute economist and vice presidential candidate of the NPP, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has confirmed his coming to Houston, Texas; and Baltimore, Maryland to grace the fundraising events being organized by some chapters of the NPPUSA branch. Lawyer Edward Osei, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee of NPPUSA stated that these events have been put together to help mobilize resources to oil the NPP campaign machinery for the 2016 elections while also serving as the platform for Alhaji Bawumia to call on Ghanaians in the USA to rise and join the call for change in Ghana.

Plans are far advanced in welcoming our vice presidential candidate and his entourage, says NPP-USA Organizer, Kwame Agyeman-Budu. He added the efforts have been well coordinators to ensure the smooth and successful running of various events.

When Ghananewsmedia reached out to the hosting chapters to ascertain their readiness in welcoming the political avatar, Sky Gyamfi Nkrumah, the Chapter Chairman of NPP-Houston, Texas, excitedly stated that Houston is all set to host the incoming vice president of Ghana. He added that the enthusiasm and excitement that have engulfed the African community in the past weeks in anticipation of the coming of Alhaji. Bawumia to Houston is indescribable. On the other hand, Prof. Austin Nathan, the Chairman of the Washington DC/Maryland chapter is leading the charge in Baltimore, Maryland. Prof. indicated that his chapter is very pleased to host Alhaji Bawumia in Baltimore, and that series of events have been laid out to warmly welcome and get him fully engaged with attendees of various events.

Alhaji Bawumia is expected to inform his audience with the thought-provocation speeches that he is known for; bringing the incompetent management of Ghana's economy under John Mahama and the NDC to the clear understanding the lame man. He's ready to spark the minds of Ghanaians in the USA to join and intensify the call for the change in the political leadership in our motherland.

Gracing the events with Alhaji Bawumia are his Press Secretary, Kwabena Boadu, NPP-USA Chairman, Nana Kwaku Agyei-Yeboah, and other executives members of NPP-USA.

According to the NPP-USA Public Relations Committee, the general public is cordially invited to be part of these historic events.
