King Faisal Owner and Bankroller, Alhaji Abdul Karim Grunzah has revealed his desire for Ghana FA to sack both the Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee Wilfred Osei Palmer and Head Coach Sellas Tetteh, since the duo have admitted to having problems.
Osei Palmer was quoted in a recent media interview that his problems with Coach Tetteh started when the ex-Rwanda trainer decided to name a squad prior to the start of the 2015 Africa Youth Championship without consulting him.
Though the Tema Youth Sporting Director and Coach Sellas Tetteh have pledged to lay aside their differences and work together to ensure Ghana wins its second Under-20 World Cup title in six years, Grunzah feels they should both be replaced ahead of the New Zealand 2015 tournament if they have a botched relationship.
“They should both be sacked if they don’t get along. I don’t want only one of them sacked. Sellas Tetteh has done a lot for the team and Palmer has also helped groom some good players for Ghana football, but if they don’t get along, then they should both be sacked,” Grunzah said.
Ghana has been placed in Group B alongside Austria, Argentina and Panama in the World Youth Championship, which kicks off May 30.
