Alhassan Wakaso inspires Rio Ave to 1-0 victory

Highly rated Ghanaian youngster Alhassan Wakaso was inspired to help his Rio Ave outfit post a 1-0 victory over Academica in the Portuguese league on Monday night.

Brazilian-born naturalized Belarusian international Renan Bardini Bressan scored the only goal of the game on the 36th minute to hand Ave their third win in the league this season.

Impressive Ghanaian youngster Alhassan Wakaso who is younger brother to Las Palmas midfielder Mubarak Wakaso displayed incredible passing range and ball winning technique to see out the victory.

The win lifts the Green and white side to 6th on the Portuguese league table after six round of games.
