Alhassan Wakaso inspires Rio Ave to a 0-0 draw

Ghanaian midfielder Alhassan Wakaso was in inspired form when his Rio Ave side travelled to Lisbon to steal a point against title chasing Sporting CP in the Portuguese League on Monday night.

The 23-year-old midfielder was entrusted by head coach Pedro Martins to ensure creative midfielder William Carvalho had little time on the ball and that was the case on the day.
