At the Swedru Sports Stadium, Gamba All Blacks dropped vital home points when they relinquished an early lead to gift visiting Berekum Arsenal a point.

The host after wasting several opportunities in the game they dominated sent the packed stadium chanting when Richard Anderson grabbed the opener through a header.

Skipper Fred Aburam picked out Anderson with a cross for him to soar above his markers to slot home the opener on the 80th minute. With defeat staring at them, the visitors raised their game in search of the equalizer.

After fighting relentlessly, Arsenal's Ohene Brenya threw the stadium into a state of anguish when he delivered a fierce drive from 25 yards that left the All Blacks goalkeeper James Akwasi Acheampong stranded in the posts with only two minutes to end proceedings. In between play, it was the All Blacks who blew away a perfect chance of taking the lead when they were awarded a spot kick by referee Joseph Lamptey of Accra after a jittery Arsenal defender handled the ball in the penalty box.

Clement Coffie who stepped up to convert the kick rather shot wide to the amazement of the supporters who had started chanting for a goal.
