Ghanaian youngster Daniel Amartey has stated that he is not surprised with his stellar performance for Djurgarden which has attracted several teams in Europe.
The 18-year-old enforcer is a January transfer target of English Premier League side Liverpool. He said he feels happy to be chased by the Reds.
"My hard work and determination has really paid off and I am happy to be on the radar of Liverpool," Amartey exclusively told Goal Ghana. “I have been in Europe for two years and I am happy I am making the mark.”
Amartey played alongside world Under-20 bronze ball winner Clifford Aboagye at Inter Allies before moving to Europe two seasons ago. He was called to the Black Satellites team for the U20 World Cup in Turkey but got injured.
