Amartey loaned back to Copenhagen by Marseille

Daniel Amartey is a player of Olympique Marseille, Allsports.com.gh can exclusively confirm.

The Ghana international defender arrived and sealed a five-year deal with the former French Ligue 1 and UEFA Champions' League winners for an undisclosed fee.

Amartey will however not be playing at the Stade Velodrome this season after he was immediately loaned back to Copenhagen for a year.

The player is now headed to the Ghana national team camp in Congo where the Black Stars are preparing for Saturday's 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game at Rwanda.

The 20 year old Amartey is highly rated and was linked with the likes of English Premier League giants, Liverpool as well as Leicester City.
