Accra, June 2, GNA - The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has released the fixtures for the Week 10 of its boxing league scheduled for Friday, June 6 at the Prisons Canteen, Cantonment. The pick of the pack will be the lightweight encounter between Odoi Yemofio of De-Oak Gym and Emmanuel Mensah of Will Power. Yemofio, undoubtedly the boxer with the largest following at the championship which began three years ago, would face his toughest test yet in Mensah, who disposed of his last two opponents with ease. The Labadi-born boxer has had some fans raise concern about his capabilities in recent times, which has seen him emerge victorious in his last two bouts courtesy split decisions which thus make the match a must watch event.

A press release issued by the Association copied to the GNA Sports said in other lightweight bouts, Emmanuel Abu of the Believers Gym will face Emmanuel Quaye of Wisdom Gym while Attoh Quarshie's Francis Aryee battles Samuel Akurugu also of Wisdom Gym. The "Pride of Ashaiman" Felix Agbozo comes up against Joshua Addy of Will Power in the Light Welterweight division, which would also see Fit Square duo, John Tang and Zakaria Abbas battling each other. Another interesting bout will be in the Middleweight division, where hard-hitting Charles Azumah of Attoh Quarshie contends with Emmanuel Martey of Square Deal, while gym-mate King Paul Lawson slugs it out against Iddrisu Yakubu of Fit Square. Black Bombers Habib Ahmed from the Wisdom Gym will seek to revive his fortunes against Ebenezer Sowah of Attoh Quarshie Gym in a Welterweight clash whereas Abraham Afful of Ashaiman will have similar intentions against Joseph Lamptey of Sonia Gym.

In the Bantamweight division, Raphael Mensah will challenge James Kotey in an all Wisdom gym affair whilst Jackson Nortey of Bronx Gym sorts things out with Richard Quartey of Black Panthers Gym. Attoh Quarshie's Isaac Sackey will pitch his strength against Bright Ayala of Wisdom Gym while Michael Pappoe is highly favoured to soar over George Krampah of Bronx Gym in the Featherweight division. In the Light heavyweight division, Sampson Dzaku of Akotoku will seek to maintain his impressive victories over Ebenezer Tetteh of Sonia Gym.
