Amateur Boxing Authority to meet Press Jan. 17

Accra, Jan. 13, GNA - The Greater Accra Amateur Boxing Association (GAABA) has announced an interaction with the media on Friday, January 17 at the Prisons Canteen, Cantonments. The encounter will see the Regional Amateur body outline its blueprint for the new season.

Gideon Quartey, Acting Chairman of GAABA told GNA Sports on Tuesday that the Association will also review its programme for last year and seek to improve on it.

He added that the commencement date for the fourth edition of the amateur boxing league will also be made public. Quartey has therefore urged all media personnel to be present at the encounter which will seek to develop the sport in the country. 13 Jan. 09
