Ghana striker Matthew Amoah is determined to use his current scoring form in Holland to win back his regular place in the Black Stars.
The NAC Breda forward was on target at the weekend to help his club to inflict Ajax's first defeat in the Dutch league this season with a 3-1 away win.
Amoah extended his side's lead in Sunday's game making it 2-0 in the 70th, poking home an angled shot after John Heitinga was caught making a defensive error.
The 27-year-old, who was Ghana top scoring striker on the way to the World Cup, is now enjoying a new lease of life in Holland after an unsuccessful stint in Germany.
He joined Borussia Dortmund after the 2006 African Cup of Nations but failed to score in the Bundesliga because of a knee injury.
Amoah lost his starting place in the Ghana national team as a result but has revived himself since returning to the Dutch league where his cut his footballing teeth.
He is keen to use his current form to win back his starting place in the Black Stars having scored six goals in 11 appearances.
"I am very happy with the way things are going for me at the moment and I know I can replicate this for the national team," Amoah told Ghanasoccernet.com.
"I lost my starting place in the national team but I am confident that I have regain my form that served Ghana very well in the past.
"I am going to work hard from now to make sure I get my position back to help Ghana win the African Cup of Nations."
Ghana will host the African Cup of Nations from 20 January next year.
