Former Ghana striker Matthew Amoah will sign for a new club next season after parting ways with Heracles Almelo.
The 33-year-old will not be handed a new deal after the expiration of his one-year contract.
His stint was hampered by injuries and so managed 16 Eredivise appearances and scored two goals.
“He wants to return to NAC Breda or Vitesse and play there for a season or more before hanging up his boots,” a confidant told GHANASoccernet.com.
Amoah played for Heerenveen for a season when he returned to Holland in 2012.
