Anderlecht to pay €3m to sign Denis Appiah

Belgian powerhouse Anderlecht paid three million euros to sign French-born Ghanaian defender Denis Appiah, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Appiah, 24, will join the Purple and White on a five-year deal from French side Caen.

The Monaco product who joined Le Stade Malherbe de Caen in the summer 2013 played over 30 games in all competitions for the Ligue1 outfit last season.

The 23-year old pillar who was an important member of Caen was under contract with SMC till 2018.

He will join compatriot Frank Acheampong ahead of next season.
