According to the Olympique Marseille’s Sport Director Jose Anigo, the Ghanaian International, Andre Ayew will not leave le Canebieres this summer.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to have the 21 year Ghanaian in his plans to replace the seemingly gone Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

However, when Ayew was questioned by reporters on Canal+ after the match with Auxerre (2-2 on Sunday), he refused to rule out a transfer:

“Why not! You know in football there is no certainty.

Andre Ayew holds a discharging clause of €13M in his contract, which implies that if Arsenal wants to hire the Olympique Marseille midfielder, they will have to pay this sum.

For the coach of Marseille Didier Deschamps, he refused to be drawn into the speculation and said: "He is under a contract until proven otherwise."

Earlier on OMtv, Jose Anigo said: We are talking about discharging clause in the contract, however, there is a deadline set and this deadline has passed. We’re serene. Dede is happy with us”
