Ghana winger Andre Ayew has revealed that he has been a Liverpool fan ever since he started watching football, but has refused to confirm receiving an offer from the Reds.
The 25-year-old, whose contract with Marseille runs out at the end of the season, has been linked with a host of Italian and English Premier League clubs including Inter Milan, Napoli and Liverpool.
“All my life, I have been a Liverpool fan. When I was young, I was watching the Liverpool games. I have had a lot of offers from different countries but I will have to discuss with Marseille,” Ayew told Sky Sports.
After confirming that Ayew will be leaving Marseille, the officials of the French club will soon be seeking to agree to one of the available offers for the deputy Black Stars captain to ensure the ex-Nania FC player’s does not depart for free.
