Andre Ayew congratulates CK Akonnor as new Black Stars coach

Swansea forward, Andre Ayew has congratulated Charles Kwabla Akonnor as the new Black Stars coach.

Akonnor was appointed to replace Kwesi Appiah after the expiration of his contract.

The Black Stars coach is currently on tour in Europe, for monitoring and also meeting some senior players in the team.

Akonnor met Andre Ayew and his brother Jordan Ayew to outline his visions and plans with the two senior players.

Andre Ayew in a post congratulated the former Black Stars captain on his appointment, "We congratulated him on his appointment as the new head coach of our national team and thankful that he saw the need to cheek up on us".

"We wished him the best and promised to give our best like always to help mother Ghana".
