City’s top gong at Wednesday’s Player of the Year Awards but was named Best Newcomer and joint top scorer.
The Ghana international was beaten to the Players’ Player of the Year and Supporters Player of the Year awards by Icelandic star Gylfi Sigurdsson who scooped four awards.
Ayew and Sigurdsson also won the Top Goalscorer award in a joint effort, with both players are tied on 11 goals heading into Sunday’s final league game against Manchester City.
He was crowned Best Newcomer after a positive first season in the Barclays Premier League.
Ayew arrived from Marseille on a free transfer last summer and had an immediate impact at the Liberty Stadium, scoring three goals in his first four games.
Also, he had two nominations in this year’s Goal of the Season shortlist, an award which was voted for on the night and eventually went to Jack Cork for his strike in the 3-1 home win over Liverpool.
