Swansea forward Andre Ayew says he is eagerly waiting to play against his brother, Jordan, who has just completed a move to Atson Villa.
Jordan played his first game for Villa on Tuesday evening after coming on as a substitute in the 2-2 pre-season friendly draw with Wolves.
The 23-year-old had only completed his five-year move from Lorient 24 hours earlier before being named on the bench by manager Tim Sherwood for Tuesday’s friendly.
Jordan’s move means he will once more again be playing in the same league as his senior brother Andre who had joined Swansea earlier in the summer.
Andre is already buzzing with excitement ahead of the possible showdown with his brother when Swansea plays Aston Villa in October.
“It is a dream for both of us to have the opportunity to play in the Premier League,” Andre said of the moves of both himself and his brother.
“I had heard it was a possibility but I did not know if it was going to happen.
“But he is a good player and he will do good things and it will be exciting for sure if we get to play against each other.”
