West Ham coach, David Moyes has revealed that Andre Ayew was only interested in rejoining Swansea City questioning his commitment level for the club after his exit.
The Ghanaian international rejoined the Welsh side in the January transfer window after spending just a year and a half with the Hammers.
After losing 4:1 at the Liberty Stadium last week Saturday, supporters of the club questioned the club's decision to sell the winger.
But the former Everton manager revealed the former Marseille man simply lost interest in the east Londoners.
"Andre Ayew did well enough for Swansea but don't forget that he didn't want to stay," he told fans in the London Evening Standard Column.
"At the time we weren't that keen to lose anyone to our competitors but he made it 100 percent clear he did not want to be at West Ham any longer."
Ayew scored 12 goals in 50 appearances after making his record-breaking £20million move to the club.
