CK Akonnor, former head coach of Asante Kotoko
Irate Asante Kotoko fans have turned against the management of the club following the dismal of coach C.K Akunnor.
This latest development comes in the wake of Akunnor’s brutal sacking, few weeks after guiding the Porcupine Warriors to win the GFA NC Tier 1 Special Competition.
The 44 year old gaffer was asked to step aside from his first team duties following a closed door meeting with the club’s top hierarchy on Wednesday.
AshantiGold’s Norwegian trainer Kjetil Zachariassen has been linked to succeed the former Black Stars captain.
Akunnor’s shocking ousting has sent the club’s supporters into meltdown with many taking to social media to express their anger;
@Eranio93 upon all that CK Akunnor has done so far with Kototo they’ve still sacked him. Management is seriously ungrateful
