Norway-based midfielder Anthony Annan picked his second booking in the qualifying series for the 2010 World Cup on Saturday during Ghana's match away to Sudan, and so will miss the corresponding fixture on September 5.
Ghana inched closer to the 2010 World Cup finals after they posted a 2-0 victory over Sudan on Saturday in Omdurman. They lead the standings with maximum nine points from three matches.
Annan, 22, has played in all nine matches of the qualifiers and lasted the entire duration.
Goalkeeper Richard Kingson is the other ever-present in the Black Stars in these qualifiers.
The Rosenberg midfielder has been a key figure for the Black Stars since Serbian coach, Milovan Rajevac, took charge in August last year.
Fulham defender John Paintsil missed the Sudan match after he received his second booking in a 2-0 victory away to Mali earlier this month.
