Spain-based youth striker Sadick Adams claims he has been axed from Ghana's U-20 World Cup squad for 'mischievious' reasons.
This shocking revelation comes just a day after Portugal-based winger Ishmael Yartey launched a schathing bribery allegation against Black Satellites coach.
The Beira Mar player alledged that Sellas Tetteh took bribes before naming his final squad for next week's World Youth Championship in Egypt.
Now another jaw-dropping allegation has hit the coach with Adams claiming that the reasons for his exclusion from the final squad are FALSE.
Adams, who was banned by Fifa for four months in May, was excluded from the final squad with reasons that the Fifa ban will still be in force during the tournament. According to the striker he should have served his ban by end of last month and should be available for the Black Satellites when the tournament starts.Adams, who claims he is still a player of Atletico Madrid, says the Fifa ban does not affect his association with the national team.
And the former Ashgold forward suspects he has been left out of the squad because of machinations from the authorities and the technical team led by Tetteh.
"I don't think the Fifa ban has got anything to do with my national team football because the directives were not to play for Atletico for a period of four months," Adams said. "However, some people at the Ghana Football Association are twisting the issue claiming that national football team is included. "I have received communications from the GFA who claim they are letters from Fifa about my ban but knowlegdeable people have raised doubts over it.Spain-based youth striker Sadick Adams claims he has been axed from Ghana's U-20 World Cup squad for 'mischievious' reasons.
