Former captain of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah expects a massive turn out of football fans at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, June 27, to watch his testimonial match.
Appiah, told the media in an interview that, football fans cannot afford to miss the match at the Accra Sports Stadium because of the high profile players who are expected to participate in the historic event.
“I have received confirmation from most of the big players in Europe and they are happy with the match and ready to participate in the game.
“In my next media interaction I will unveil the list of players who will be coming for the match and I don’t think fans will be willing to sit home and miss the match.” He stated.
According to Appiah, preparations for the match have been smooth and successful and he is looking forward to a great event.
He said the corporate world have also been supportive of the event and providing him all that he needed to have a successful event.
Primeval Media, Event Planners and Organisers in partnership with Stephen Appiah will organise a Dinner and Testimonial match at the Banquet Hall, State House and Accra Sports Stadium to bring his illustrious career to an end.
The match is expected to attract high profile players from Europe and other parts of the continent.
