Former Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah is in China where he will be part of legendary players assembled by Italian giants Juventus to play in a charity game on Friday.
Appiah is set to take to the pitch in the famous Black and White of Juventus again on Friday when a team including Ravanelli, Ciro Ferrara,Gianluca Pessoto and David Trezequet take on Chinese giants Shanghai Shenhua.
The 35-year-old is seen by many as the best Black Stars skipper ever for his undying commitment to Ghana and his humility.
Appiah enjoyed two successful seasons with Juventus making over 50 appearances for the club.
Shanghai Shenhua is currently home to Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins and Argentine winger Ezequiel Lavezzi.
The iconic midfielder recently called timed on his illustrious career with a testimonial game which was also graced by some of the finest footballers on the Africa continent on June 27 2015.
He represented Ghana 67 times at the national team level scoring 14 goals in the process.
He also captained Ghana at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and was the general team captain when the Black Stars were a step way from being the first African team to reach the semi-final of the world cup.
