Morocco's opening match of the 2024 Olympic Games against Argentina had a chaotic ending when a goal was ruled out two hours after the game had ended.
Swedish referee Glen Nyberg was at the centre of the chaos after disallowing Argentina's last-minute equalizer.
Argentina managed to draw level, 2-2, with what seemed to be the final kick of the game, as Cristian Medina scored from a rebound header.
Shortly after the goal, some Morocco fans stormed the pitch and started throwing objects at the Argentina players.
The match was abandoned while security worked to restore order. Two hours later, play resumed, the goal was reviewed and ultimately cancelled.
The referee then officially concluded the match after the goal was overturned with Morocco securing a 2-1 win.
