Baba Adamu known in football circles as Baba Armando has poured out his heart in an exclusive interview with William des Bordes of Deutsche Welle Radio in Germany.

"Please extend my deepest apologies to every Ghanaian I have wronged from the government, to the GFA, across journalists and let them know that I am human, they should forgive me, I love them dearly especially my fans.

In this race of life we learn and understand the world better with each passing day" he said.

According to Baba he is the breadwinner of his family so when he was left out of the squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, he felt he had been victimised and so made some pronouncements that he thinks might have been going against his being invited into the national team.

"Whenever I see some of the strikers of the of the Blacks Stars missing goal-scoring opportunities in matches, my heart bleeds and I really blame myself because I humbly perceive I should have been there serving my nation by banging in the goals"

I have done it before against Jamaica, Zimbabwe,Mexico etc under seconds or minutes and I believe I can answer the call to the goal famine in our senior national team".

Baba was full of praise for the President of the FA Kwesi Nyantakyi and his Vice Fred Pappoe who have so far received him with a warm heart since his return to Ghana."When I spoke to them I felt like I have been relieved of a heavy load."
