English Premier League giants Arsenal have lined up a move for Olympiacos defensive midfielder Mady Camara, should they miss out on Atletico Madrid's Thomas Partey.
Partey has reportedly impressed Mikel Arteta and the Spaniard is keen to get him to sign on.
However, the Gunners may be forced to miss out on one of Arteta’s main targets this summer, with Atletico Madrid keen to pen midfielder Thomas Partey to a new long-term contract worth £79,000-a-week.
Reports in the Italian tabloids indicate that the Emirates Stadium outfit have targeted Guinean midfielder Mady Camara as an alternative following his superlative showing for Greek giants Olympiacos this season.
Camara was part of the Olympiacos side that executed a shocking Europa League win over Arsenal back in February.
It is believed that it would take an offer of £21.8 million to tempt the Piraeus outfit to allow Camara to leave.
Partey has made 38 appearances in all competitions for the club, contributing 4 goals and 1 assist.
