Arsenal win

At the Tema Sports Stadium, visiting Berekum Arsenals defeated Power F/C 1-0 in their GT Premier League match on Sunday.

Power who were determined to put back the smiles on the faces of their fans after their 0-1 lost to Real Sportive last week, were not given any room to operate as the visitors matched them in all departments of the game.

The game from the beginning became a ding-dong affair as both sides tried to put pressure on each other but none of them could find the net till the end of the first half. Back from recess, the two teams made changes but it was rather Arsenlas who benefited as they went ahead to score the only goal of the match in the 47th minute through their danger man, Alex Asamoah when his low grounder beat goalkeeper Cudjoe Addo of Power. Power threw everything into the game but poor finishing upfront robbed them of any goal till the final whistle.
