Asamoah Gyan among 7 Kayserispor stars who captain national teams

Turkish side Kayserispor boasts of an impressive SEVEN top stars who are captains of their national teams including world class striker Asamoah Gyan.

The likes of Ryan Isaac Mendes da Graça (Cape Verde), Oleksandr Kucher (Ukraine), Ali Ahamada (Comoros), Cristian Sapunaru (Romania) are some of the top stars who wear the armband at the international level.

''Kayserispor have seven players who are captains at their national team and it's a honour for us," President Erol Bedir said

"Kucher, Gyan and Sapunaru are some of the players who joined us as captains of their national team.

"It's a massive pride for us and shows the richness of our yellow-red team. Our desire is to see them return successfully and without injury."

Gyan, 31, is returning to the Ghana national team after missing the last two matches through injury.
