Asamoah Gyan has rewarded his BabyJet Promotions and Management’s newly signed on boxer, Emmanuel Tagoe with a gift of car worth $45,000 (forty-five thousand US Dollars).

24 year old Tagoe fondly nicknamed Game Boy by his fans beat local rival, George Ashie last November to claim the WBA International Junior Lightweight title in what was BabyJet Promotions’ debut event.

Asamoah Gyan and his BabyJet Promotions and Management bigwigs were so impressed they agreed to manage and promote the boxer. They officially signed the deal in front of the media on Wednesday at which BabyJet Promotions CEO, Sammy Anim –Addo revealed a comprehensive plan leading to a world championship title for the Ghanaian showman by April next year.

Accordingly, Tagoe’s first bout under the management of BabyJet Promotions and Management will come off next month on the maiden promotion of the newly launched Fresh King Entertainment of former world champion, Joseph King Kong Agbeko on February 22.

Game Boy will then fight for WBO International Junior Lightweight belt in the USA in May on a BabyJet Promotions unprecedented event after which he will return to defend his WBA Super Featherweight in Accra in July.

Another fight for the 24 year is billed for November to prepare him for a shot at the world title in April 2014.

But it’s the $45,000 car and how he got it that still amazes Game Boy about his new found life with the BabyJet Promotions camp. “I have to thank Asamoah Gyan for everything he’s doing for me and I promise to win the world title,” Tagoe pledged.

He continued: “The car that he bought for me was also surprising. We were just going to see him off at the Airport and we saw the car on the way then he asked why I was looking at the car that way.

“Then he asked if I like it and I said if I get this one, I won’t sleep again. He then went to ask of the price of the car, and they said $45,000 and right there he bought it for me.

“I couldn’t believe it even as I was driving it, I thought if we get to our destination, then they will take it from me.” Credit:
